Here are some common questions
Pilates is a series of exercises designed to be done on the Reformer, Mat and other apparatus.
Pilates uses core (abdominal) strength and breathing, incorporating the glutes, hips, and pelvic floor muscles, aka the "Power House”. That is why it is such a good form of exercise.
The Reformer is a Pilates apparatus that allows you to perform gentle, low-impact exercises using a series of springs as resistance, straps, and props, including a box and jump board.
Wear comfy clothing, like a T-shirt and leggings. Grip socks are a must and can be purchased in the Studio for $20.
We offer an Introduction to the Reformer, Beginner, Group Reformer classes, and Private sessions. All fitness levels are welcome.
